I am a host, journalist, and podcast creator, best known for the technology podcast Link. I worked at the daily newspaper SME for 10 years, where I contributed to the digital subscription strategy, launched newsletters, and helped introduce podcasts. I co-founded skpodcasty, the largest database of Slovak podcasts, and I am also involved in organizing the Podcast of the Year awards.
In addition, I help media organizations around the world with digital strategy and create content at FatChilli for Publishers.

I studied Information Systems at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at STU, where I focused on artificial intelligence research and its applications across various scientific fields. After graduating, I specialized in applying AI to biotechnology and biometric projects.

In 2022, I joined Powerful Medical, where I was responsible for training, deploying, and maintaining AI models in the cloud. Since 2023, I have been leading an AI team focused on developing and clinically validating certified AI solutions, with a particular focus on cardiology—specifically the digitization and diagnosis of ECG recordings. Under my leadership, the team collaborates closely with physicians to create solutions that directly address the needs of clinical practice, particularly in acute cardiac care.

I am a publicist and expert in online communication. I led online communication for the Ministry of Health during the coronavirus pandemic, worked as part of President Zuzana Čaputová’s team, and previously worked in advertising. I am the recipient of a Journalism Award for a series of blog posts. I have long focused on disinformation and the functioning of social networks.

I studied at the Faculty of Management at Comenius University in Bratislava and later studied philosophy, political science, and economics at the University of York in the United Kingdom.

I am an entrepreneur and startup founder who built a gaming studio from $0 to $5.5M in revenue within one year—while wearing a strawberry costume and with a $0 marketing budget, no influencers, bots, or fake followers. I am also the creator of several government digitalization projects within the EU and have over 10 years of experience building and optimizing digital products used by millions of users worldwide.

I am a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with 12 years of experience. I am passionate about Rust, software security, and IoT. I am excited to share my vision of a better future with CODECON participants.

I am a healthcare visionary passionate about promoting health equity through digital transformation and innovation in personalized healthcare. I have spearheaded initiatives such as HEALTHCLIP, which were inspired by the EHDS philosophy even before its formal adoption by the European Commission.

With a diverse background in law, global healthcare project management, and digital innovation, I bring a holistic perspective and advocate for change in European healthcare systems. My experience spans leadership roles in startups and non-governmental organizations, as well as shaping digital health policies in multinational companies.

Majka Szarková is a community builder focused on startups, education, and innovation.

I co-founded the Prešov branch of the Eastcubator coworking space, organized WebElement community lectures in Prešov for several years, and actively supported the startup ecosystem in eastern Slovakia. Seven years ago, I co-founded the Cequence project, where I continue to work today.

My journey began with building robust internet banking systems, transitioned into the dynamic world of fintech startups, and has now led me to Industry 4.0 at Kistler, where I specialize in optimizing industrial processes.

As a Senior Technical Artist at Pixel Federation, I have shaped both creative and technical workflows. In R&D, I contributed to the development of TrainStation 3, led the transition to Blender, and created a central asset library along with a suite of tools to scale and secure future creative processes. Today, I integrate generative AI across departments in my role as AI Art Owner.

As a Senior Solution Architect at Red Hat, I work with customers and partners to implement open source technologies that deliver real value to their organizations. I have also gained international experience, which I am now excited to share in Slovakia. My background spans application development, including integrations, cloud-native approaches, business process management, and tools that enhance developer productivity.

Architect for a cloud platform of SaaS solutions in Kistler, drawing on years of hands-on software development experience. I focus on microservices in the IoT space, while also diving into DevOps and cybersecurity. I enjoy tackling challenges that push me to grow and sharing what I’ve learned — because, in the end, the best answer is often just "it depends".

I focus on strategic communication and artificial intelligence. As CEO and co-founder of elv.ai, I lead a team developing tools for moderating online content, helping brands protect their reputations in the digital space. My work has been recognized in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the startups and technology category.

Previously, I worked as an account director at New School Communications. I speak at conferences on AI and combating online hate speech, and I am a member of together.eu as well as an ambassador for EDYN. I am a Senior Research Fellow at GLOBSEC. Since 2016, I have conducted research at the Center for Democracy and Resilience. I am the author of numerous analyses on hybrid threats, the impact of information operations and social media on democratic societies, and strategic communications. Previously, I have worked for Transparency International Slovakia and the European Commission.

I am an information security expert and the founder of Checkbot and Sebavedomé Slovensko, as well as the HOPE – Hall of Positive Engagement educational platform. I am dedicated to fostering critical thinking, values education, and media literacy. Professionally, I work at the technology company Gerulata Technologies.

Kateřina Ščavnická is an Engineering Lead at Kiwi.com, a leading Czech travel tech company. She is passionate about exploring the latest technology, driving innovation, and making data processes efficient and valuable. Her dedication to detail and persistent approach makes her a strong advocate for data governance and observability, where she applies product thinking to elevate data as a product.
Known for her vibrant and engaging personality, Kejty loves public speaking and sharing knowledge to broaden her perspectives on both technical and cultural dimensions of the tech landscape.

I am an experienced programmer and IT architect, responsible for key projects of the innovation team, including the Bratislava Account and the PAAS mobile parking app. Within the organization, I have advanced to Director of the Bratislava Digitization Section, overseeing innovation, data, network infrastructure, and technical and application support. In my free time, I teach business data at FMFI UK and FHI EUBA.

I am an experienced service designer with five years of experience improving the services of the city of Bratislava. I graduated from Matfyz and currently lead the programming side of the innovation team, implementing design thinking principles across the city council with a strong focus on user needs and customer experience.

Since 2022, I have been working at SOFTEC, focusing on DevOps and Cloud.

Among other things, I am interested in the implementation of DevOps processes and tools, for example through products such as a DevOps framework. At CODECON, I will share with the community the successes and challenges associated with developing the DevOps Framework.

I work in cybersecurity, specializing in penetration testing (ethical hacking). I am passionate about raising public awareness of penetration testing and cybersecurity, and helping organizations and individuals better understand and improve their security posture.

I am a Senior Research Engineer at the Kempelen Institute for Intelligent Technologies, focusing on new methods in deep learning. My work includes natural language processing models and enhancing neural network transparency through explainability techniques.

I lead initiatives to improve the technical excellence of research engineering and develop research computing infrastructure. I have participated in and led several industrial collaborations and research projects, including creating a pan-European platform for researchers and facilitating technology transfer from AI research to various industrial sectors.

I am an Enterprise Architect, DevOps Engineer, and tech enthusiast, as well as a father of two—and, to add to the mix, I also work in sales. I have nearly 10 years of experience with containers and orchestration platforms, including those predating Kubernetes 😉. I am a long-time promoter and implementer of DevOps, with a particular passion for exploring the principles of DevSecOps. Certified Red Hat enthusiast.

I have been immersed in cloud computing and DevOps for over 10 years. I am the co-founder of Plectrum Engineering, where I also work as a multi-cloud architect. I enjoy sharing my extensive experience from small to multinational projects and actively contribute to educating future IT professionals at the University of Žilina.

I first encountered cloud technologies nine years ago, toward the end of my university studies. Since then, I have worked on a variety of projects as a DevOps, Cloud, and Platform Engineer. Currently, I focus on the fascinating world of Kubernetes and Cloud Native technologies at Labyrinth Labs, and I enjoy sharing my experience at conferences and meetups.

I'm a Fullstack developer turned startup founder with 12+ years of experience. I specialize in AWS, DevOps, and web technologies: Typescript, React, Node.js.
My startup, Stacktape, is a PaaS that deploys to user's own AWS account and offers 97% of AWS capabilities, with 3% complexity.

I am a co-founder of the startup sommify and a PhD student at FIIT STU, where I combine research with practical application. I focus on natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), web scraping, and data mining—fields where I aim to make a real impact. My strength lies in not only researching new technologies but also actively applying them in product development.

At CODECON, we will explore how autonomous agents are transforming the world of web scraping—and whether they represent its future.

I am a programmer with experience across multiple domains—from C in telecommunications, through Java backends, to cloud infrastructure. I enjoy exploring the details of containers and Kubernetes, and I share my insights on my blog okontajneroch.sk and at community meetups. Currently, I am focused on AI agents and their orchestration.

I have been involved in state IT for over 10 years and am well-known within the Slovak IT community. I organized the Rubyslava meetup for many years, have taught at FIIT, and enjoy presenting and sharing knowledge with others.

I work on innovative genAI projects and deliver solutions for enterprise clients. This allows me to explore both the advantages and the unresolved challenges of generative AI in enterprise environments, as well as advanced design patterns. I look forward to sharing these insights and discussing them with the community at CODECON.

I frequently lecture at conferences across the country and at universities, and I thoroughly enjoy sharing knowledge. I am also employed at Seznam in a versatile role. Last year, I published my second book on JavaScript.

I am a Generative AI Developer with a background in XR (VR and AR) technology development. While I initially focused on XR, I have since moved into projects in the field of generative artificial intelligence. I have been with Accenture since 2021 and currently concentrate on generative AI projects. I studied Intelligent Software Systems at STU FIIT in Bratislava.

I am a senior IT architect with 35 years of experience in large enterprises and agile startups. I closely follow trends in new and rapidly evolving technologies. I am the author of the GALATI Vitis program, which has supported winegrowers for over 30 years, and I have coached, mentored, and trained software and technical architects. I am also the co-founder of the OpenSlava conference (openslava.sk).

I have been professionally involved in software development for over 17 years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work on exciting projects with talented people and learn a great deal along the way. I am now happy to share these experiences at meetups, conferences, and on my blog.

I am a programmer passionate about exploring various aspects of front-end development and JavaScript. I have worked on several projects, ranging from senior developer to consultant. Lately, I have been focusing on creating Angular components, which I share on my GitHub, some of them as open-source packages on NPM. In my free time, I write a tech blog on Medium

I joined Seznam in 2013 as a programmer for Mapy.cz, working on projects such as Panorama and expanding maps to cover the entire world, including the associated data imports. Later, I took on the management of the development team and now oversee development and research for one of Seznam’s divisions.
