After leaving Pixel, he is now fully immersed in the trenches of game development with a 2D hand-drawn action platformer called CRAVE.

I am a programmer passionate about exploring various aspects of front-end development and JavaScript. I have worked on several projects, ranging from senior developer to consultant. Marián Vlčák, known as Vlko, is a technology enthusiast and amateur blogger who works as CTO at FinStat. In his spare time, he curates interesting links in his weekly blog at blog.vyvojari.dev. Vlastimil Kocián graduated in Information and Control Systems from the Faculty of Management and Informatics at the University of Žilina. He began his career as a developer at KROS, later moving into management, and has since been involved in innovative projects in construction and online applications. Since 2013, he has served on the presidium of the Žilina IT cluster ZAIT. In 2021, he became the first Director of the INOVIA Innovation Center in Žilina, overseeing development programs for companies and startups. He is also a member of the international networks Red Button and Ynovate. Vlastimil believes the future of the Žilina region and Slovakia lies in nurturing young talent and integrating innovations into everyday business and local government.

My name is Samuel, and I’ve been fascinated by technology since childhood. I started programming at the age of six, trying to understand how the games I played actually worked. A programmer turned entrepreneur, Martin was one of the first Android developers and founded the software agency Inloop. When the company grew to 150 employees, it was acquired by the Czech firm Avast. He is now developing a new venture, Stuart Garage, which renovates and services classic Porsches. Here, he has returned to programming, creating internal web applications in Ruby on Rails, with plans to release one as a paid service.

I graduated from FIIT STU and, in 2014, started a software development business with a school friend, focusing on custom development in Ruby on Rails. Since 2017, I have been working on the Muziker project — from replacing the e-shop platform built from scratch to gradually building an internal DEV department.

As a board member, I help decide the strategic direction of Muziker. Thanks to technology and a data-driven approach, Muziker has grown into a significant European e-commerce player, offering more than 100,000 products and selling to over 45 countries.

I produce club and online shows under the Silné reči brand. At the same time, I have a strong tendency to tinker, take things apart, hack things together, and dive into IT.

My recent completed projects include upgrading the infrastructure at my cottage to achieve at least 350 Mbps by the pool, and building specialized Claude agents that handle research on topics I’m too lazy to Google myself.

I am a team lead of security specialists, focusing on penetration testing (ethical hacking). Hi, my motivation to become a speaker at this year’s Codecon actually came from the last one in Bratislava. I was part of the RPC team in the expo zone, where I had the chance to have great conversations with a large number of attendees who stopped by our booth. It was a really diverse mix of roles, seniority levels, and personalities.

What stood out, though, was that many of them showed a certain sense of being “lost” when it came to where and how to move forward in their careers. This kept coming up across both juniors and seniors, and that’s when I thought it would be valuable to bring a self-leadership talk to the stage—one that, without unnecessary HR fluff, shares what has worked for me in my career and what could, ideally, help others find their direction.

My research centers on neural language models and working with low-resource languages, including Slovak, with an emphasis on practical applications.

I’ve experienced software development from multiple perspectives — as a developer, team lead, DevOps engineer, and software architect. I’ve been focusing on architecture for a long time and currently work as a Staff Engineer at Multitude.
